LA with a sprinkle of sincerity - that’s me !

This is the blog of one Minxy 30 something single female living it up in Los Angeles, just trying to figure it all out, look fabulous doing it, and maybe, just bloody maybe, finding that elusive “love” somewhere along the way. I have so much to say, and few who want to listen, that’s where you come in. I’m a lousy listener, but love to write and express myself, my thought, observations, insights, and whatever that is in the mix of my so called Minxy Life. This is my first ever blog, so bare with me, I suck at HTML, and still figuring out how this all works, well, it must be, as you are reading, right ?

Who is Minxy ? “too much” for most. Words to describe me would be high-flouting, ostentatious, designer label obsessed, poser, feisty, opinionated, materialistic, bossy, control freak,  Beverly Hills Barbie - are you still reading ?? that’s my L.A side, but having a posh British Mum/Mom as they spell it in the U.K I luckily have some redeeming qualities, sincere, deep, insightful, impeccable manners and etiquette ( like a female Fonzworth Bentley ) I call her Minxy Poppins, you features in my Minx’s Charm School., big hearted, thoughtful and a great friend who can’t do enough for people, or animals. I sure know how to Minx it up and laugh at myself while I am at it. CHEERS !

Refined, cosmopoitan, well spoken and fine school eductaed. Concieted, confident and love attention too.

Well, I the female straight and skinny version, MEOW. We share the same pet photographer, so any crap, and I blog gossip on a gossip blogger.

Carrie Bradshaw -

The character women around the World love - played so well by Sarah Jessica Parker. I consider myself a real life LA version of Carrie Bradshaw. I’m single, over 30, fabulous, and live a pretty amazing life, love to write, insightful, and over analyze everything and have a slight tortured soul, history of Mr.Big/Wrong  types. Spend like a drunken sailor on clothes, purses and SHOES too.

So, what’s this blog for ? several reasons.

To make friends and lure like minded fun and positive people my way

To give hope and encouragement to women in LA over 30, who may have started to loose their groove

To inspire and spread the message to be the very best you can be, on any budget, or circumstances

Stlist Minx - I have this unique talent of putting a couture looking outfit together CHEAP - Forever 21, Ross, TJMAX, Loehmans, are packed with pieces that will look expensive.

Minxism - I am into personal growth, translated, I want to have better relationships with myself anf others. Trying to fumble my way to understanding behaviour, in myself and others. I do all the boring work, and translate into Minx terms for Drive Thru Spirituality

Chi Wow Wa - yep, my name is Minx, and I am the Chihuahua Whisperer. Now that is a title, hopefully I don’t end up the old lady on the corner with all the dogs……..
